Reni Walker
Director and Producer
Reni studied the fundamentals of storytelling in long- and short-form documentaries while earning her degree in Broadcast Journalism at Ryerson University. Eventually her career went on to include print, publishing, and television.
She made the jump to digital media as a content producer for boutique ad agencies and assisted in the building of the March of the Living Digital Archive Project with filmmaker Naomi Wise. While filming I Rock, she wrote and produced her first narrative film, Roomies, which was included in Canada's National Screen Institute's Online Short Film Festival.
I Rock is her first feature-length documentary.
Nadine Anglin
Director and Producer
Nadine is a seasoned storyteller with 10+ years of experience working in digital media. She’s worked with Canadian brands and outlets like Food Network, HGTV, Entertainment Tonight, Canadian Living and Zoomer magazines. She is also an experienced Content Designer working in the emerging virtual reality industry. Nadine is a graduate of Ryerson University’s School of Journalism and studied comedy writing at the Second City training center in Toronto.
Adam Syrnyk
Cinematographer
Adam completed his formal training in film at Ryerson University, followed by a certificate in documentary studies from the International School of Cinema and Television in Cuba. Currently, he works professionally as a cinematographer and camera operator taking on projects both locally and abroad.
Adam’s work has screened at multiple international film festivals, picking up great recognition including a “Best Cinematography” award for the doc short, “Show & Tell.”
Edwin Janzen
Editor
Edwin is a graduate of Sheridan College’s Media Arts program and has worked on a wide variety of projects in both film and television, including the History Channel's WarStory, CBC DocZone's Super Volcano, and Revolution, the sequel to the acclaimed documentary film, Shark Water.
Graydon James
Sound Editor
Graydon James is a dad, husband, musician, producer, author, and former tap dancer. As a producer and recording engineer, he runs Typewriter Studio from his home in Toronto.
As a musician, he is approximately one half of a folk-roots duo called The Young Novelists with his wife, Laura Spink. Together they have won a Canadian Folk Music Award for New/Emerging Artist and a handful of songwriting awards.
Graydon has also published a novel, and has a son who just finished Grade 4.
